Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. ~ Mark Twain

They say that I can move mountains and send them crashing to the sea. They say that I can walk on water if I would follow and believe with faith like a child.

Hope is a waking dream. ~ Aristotle

God is more interested in the status of our heart than in the location of our feet.

Sometimes I wish I could fast forward time to see if, in the end, it’s all worth it.

Dear Reader, The journey of life itself is extraordinary. The course of life flows like no other and you go day by day trying to survive to the next, wondering what today might bring. The truth is, you can never know what is planned for us, our destiny is determined the day we are born and it is up to us to find out what that is. It is up to us to reach the top and be the best we can possibly be. One may never reach their destiny if they do not attempt to try. We all make mistakes. We all fall down at times, and lose our way but that shouldn't have to mean we give up. Life is full of the unexpected, and the only way to truly learn throughout our lives is to fall down. Those experiences help us grow as an individual and benefit us in more ways than one. The power of a dream is truly remarkable. I believe every human has a chance to be someone, to do something with his or her lives. We hold on to our dreams and do our best to fulfill them as we get older. If you have the ability to dream you have the ability to make miracles happen. You can not succeed in life constantly fearing you will make a mistake because that belief will hold you back from achieving so many wonderful things. You will come across hardships and maybe even people that try to belittle your ambitions, people who do not believe in you enough and they may even put you down. You cannot live your life for other people and how they perceive you to be, you must do what is right for you, and only you. If someone puts you down, do not hold that against yourself and let that destroy every dream you have ever believed in. Always believe in yourself, no matter what happens. What is meant to be will be. ~ Ali Kramer

Sometimes, everything falls together when you least expect it to … but just when you need it to the most.

Grace strikes us when we are in great pain and restlessness. It strikes us when we walk through the dark valley of meaningless and empty life. It strikes us when our disgust for our own being, our indifference, our weakness, our hostility and our lack of direction and composure have become intolerable to us. It strikes us when, year after year, the longed-for perfection of life does not appear. Sometimes, at that moment, a wave of light breaks into our darkness and it is as through a voice were saying, “You are accepted. Accepted by that which is greater than you and the name of which you do not know. Do not ask for the name now … perhaps you will find it later. Do not seek for anything. Simply accept the fact that you are accepted.” In that moment, reconciliation bridges the gulf of estrangement and nothing is demanded of this experience. No religious or moral or intellectual presupposition. Nothing but acceptance.

It’s not a day on the calendar. Not a birthday, not a new year. It’s an event, big or small, something that changes us. Ideally, it gives us hope … a new way of living and looking at the world. Letting go of old habits, old memories. What’s important is that we never stop believing we can have a new beginning, but it is also important to remember that amid all the crap, there are a few things worth holding on to.

You’ll find that the only thing you can do easily is be wrong and that is hardly worth the effort. ~ Norton Justire

If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving. You loose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all. And so today, I still have a dream.
