What a FABULOUS day for wedding planning! :)

So, today I went to get my haircut and thought I would go to Target afterwards and wander around, not really looking for anything in particular. We've been looking for glass bowls to hold floating candles for a couple months now and haven't had much luck ... today I found THREE of them! I know that doesn't seem like much, but when we've tried and tried and found zero ... three is a big deal! lol So now I'm going to go back to Target every few days to see if they have more ... and I think I will ask if they can order some (and see if we can get a discount for buying in bulk!! wink). So that was SUPER exciting! I also found these amazing candle holders for the centerpiece on the head table ... and I can't really explain them without them sounding stupid, but they're rad. smile

AND I went to David's Bridal to buy my shoes, which I love! big grin Set up my bustle appt and then on the way out, there was a table/sales rep for Tuxedo Junction. I was talking to the girl and the perks are
a) they can match ALL David's Bridal colors, so our groomsmen will actually be able to match the bridesmaids! smile
b) I put $20 down (req. deposit) toward the rental
c) we got a $50 off coupon!!!
d) Brandon's groomsmen from Visalia can send their measurements from ANY tux store and Tuxedo Junction will get them a tux in those measurements
e) all their tuxes are in the store and Brandon can try on anything and everything he wants till he finds one he likes and feels comfortable in, even if he tries on the whole store. wink

Phew! Lots of good things! smile So on April 28th, we'll go down there. I think I will set up our engagement photos for that day too ... hopefully the weather will be good!!

And the sun is out.
And Brandon and I are going to Gordo's for dinner! big grin
And ... it's just a good day! smile

Oh yeah!!


I just realized I haven't posted in ages ... but I got into Westminster!!! smile smile As of May 14th, I will be starting classes and working toward my MAT, hooray! That means ... I will be moving to Salt Lake at the beginning of May ... and will not be home again until about 2 weeks before the wedding. lol Go figure.

Yay!

Wednesday, March 7th

What a beautiful life.

Right now I am in need of something chocolate. lol I am tired of life. Well, not really ... I'm just tired of adult life. It's really no fun. lol Today, I found out that I can deal with third graders just fine ... but I can't really deal with people who act like third graders. We had a man call the office and he (I found out later) is 60 years old. And honestly, he acted like he was 8! Gah. No me gusta los tipos de personas. razz

Anyway, Dad is going to get dinner. And Brandon and I are going to wander aroudn B&N tonight.

Just kidding. I'm actually going to Ken and Erin's house for dinner w/ Brandon. So off I go to find a house in Jacksonville in the dark and the rain. lol Wish me luck!
