01/27/2007: "Probably quite overdue."

So here it is, 27 days into the near year ... a month and 10 days since graduation, and I still have not posted. Kind of weird. But to be fair, I have been all sorts of busy in my own way. lol Not that I've been out doing ridiculously spectacular things; but I've been working and spending a lot of time with a ridiculously spectacular man.

Work:
I am working at Wilson Elementary 1/2 time and at Rehab Medicine 1/2 time. I love love LOVEEE teaching at Wilson!! The kids are phenomonal and my job is so rewarding. I'm definitely in the line of work.
School:
Seems like a weird catagory to update post graduation, lol, but it will all make sense when you read it. My application to Westminster is in and I should be hearing back by next Friday at the latest. Get excited! Assuming my application has been well received by the admissions committee, I will be moving to Salt Lake in August and starting my Masters program shortly thereafter. If I don't get in ... well, there is no plan B, so hopefully I will get in! lol
Family:
My fam is doing well. I love them. Marisa is coming home in Feb for about a month, which will be good. Otherwise, it's the same old, same old.
Branadon:
Things are just amazing. Our relationship has hit an entirely new level and it is wonderful. The 1/2 a week we weren't together really put things into perspective, at least for me, and we are doing just fine! We're rapidly heading toward an engagement and marriage, but that is all dependent on when he buys the ring and asks my dad. lol So we will see! I haven't a clue when it will happen, but I am excited to spend my happily forever after with him.
Friends:
Well, I really miss my Linfield friends. Not gonna lie. Hopefully I will be able to go visit in February! Either the 1st or 2nd weekends is what I am looking at. Just need to talk to some people and find out when they will be there since I think the semester starts after the 1st weekend in Feb. As for friends in Medford ... well. I don't have many. lol Kevin is home from his mission! Otherwise, I haven't seen many people because a) not many people are actually home and b) I am way too tired during the week to hang out and c) I don't have a lot of money (trying to pay off all my bills) and therefore, don't really want to go out much. But it's okay. I do need to call Jessica Porter and make sure she and I hang out before she leaves for Austria, which is really soon I think.
And that is all for now. I think I want to get out of bed and take a shower. I bought a new shirt last night ... it has stars on it. I am excited to wear it today!
