Joey: There’s
a lot worse than a broken heart, like not exploring a love.
~ Dawson’s Creek It is the end of something simple and the beginning of everything else. ~ Dawson’s Creek
I like that you ramble when you're nervous. I like that I know that you ramble when you're nervous. I like that I still make you nervous. ~ Dawson’s Creek You reminded me of what I'm capable of feeling. It's like I was ... walking around seeing my life through a smudged window, and then I saw you and the smudges were gone. The window was clean. ~ Dawson’s Creek Be sure to make mistakes. Make a lot of them, because there's no better way to learn and to grow. ~ Dawson’s Creek Love to the tips of your fingers, and when you find that love, wherever you find it, whoever you choose, don't run away from it. But you don't have to chase after it either. You just be patient, and it'll come to you. ~ Dawson’s Creek I want you to be with someone who makes you feel like I feel when I'm with you. ~ Dawson’s Creek I'm leaving because you didn't ask me to stay. ~ Dawson’s Creek Friends give you the worst of news with the best of intentions. ~ Dawson’s Creek No matter where love takes you, it’s always the beginning. ~ Dawson’s Creek I also wanted to remind you that, even though sometimes my emotions, particularly jealousy, sometimes get the best of me, I still hear you. No matter how much we yell, or no matter how quiet you are ... I hear you. ~ Dawson’s Creek Joey: It’s not the first kiss that counts, it’s the second. First kisses are spur of the moment but you have time to analyze and think about the second kiss. So count your seconds kisses, not your firsts. ~ Dawson’s Creek We’re all strangers to our parents. I mean, yeah, they love us, but they don’t really know us. ~ Dawson’s Creek Joey: And oddly enough, what followed was perhaps the truth is, we didn't talk this summer. Not a word. Which is weird, I guess, but at the same time, not. I ... I kept meaning to call him. I did. But one week turned into a month, and before you know it ... here we are, back at school. What Dawson said that night definitely rang true -- my life is waiting for me out there. I know it. And what's really cool is that I have absolutely no idea what to expect. But whatever it is ... I'm ready for it. ~ Dawson’s Creek Eddie: I don't know. I just feel like it's a little condescending to feel sorry for these people. I mean, who says there can't be beauty in a world where the sun doesn't shine? ~ Dawson’s Creek Jack: She's just afraid this guy is too good for her. ~ Dawson’s Creek Joey: You seemed to go through a lot of trouble to attend so I just -- I thought it might've meant something to you, but again, sorry. ~ Dawson’s Creek Eddie: Well, I've found that girlfriends are generally more trouble than they're worth. ~ Dawson’s Creek Joey: It's just funny how little you actually know about me. ~ Dawson’s Creek Eddie: You. You, uh, you got under my skin. I found myself having these series of annoying conversations with you in my head, which must be a sign of something, so I kept coming back for more, which ultimately proved to be my undoing. ~ Dawson’s Creek Dawson: Hey. You -- you look amazing. I'm sure you've probably heard that, like, 1,000 times. ~ Dawson’s Creek Natasha: Who knows? Maybe she fell in love with him or maybe she just wanted someone to pay attention to her. ~ Dawson’s Creek Natasha: Yeah, well, not all relationships are perfect,
Dawson. They don't all last forever. Maybe he had a shot. Maybe he blew
it. Joey: We all have our moments. You know what? Don't stop
hoping that things will be different with him. You're way too young to
be so bitter. Joey: You are who you are, Eddie. I have no desire to
change that. As much as you want to, you can’t rely on someone else to make you feel alive. It’s an inside job. ~ Dawson’s Creek Natasha: Good, because ... I like you, too. A lot of people walk in and out of my life, Dawson, and ... you might not believe what I'm about to say, because I'm an actor and I lie for a living, but ... you're one of the only people I ever really wanted to stick around. ~ Dawson’s Creek Joey: Dawson, how do I know I’m not just this security blanket for you? Something you'll keep coming back to when the world gets scary? ~ Dawson’s Creek Dawson: Quick and easy answer would be that I was really, really busy and there just wasn't any time. Which is true, but ... it's not really it. Because I thought about you all the time, and about what you said about how everything would just kind of work itself out between us and it just ... made me feel so good about us. I just ... well, I guess I didn't want to ruin that feeling. Does that make any sense? ~ Dawson’s Creek Joey: True. Sad but true. But I mean ... case in point.
You seem ... different. It's just that I've been sitting here trying to figure out where I've met you before, and suddenly I realized I've never met you before. ~ Dawson’s Creek |
